Hydrant Cover / Access Enclosure for the London Underground
A local customer to us in Kent approached us to build a unique enclosure to house a new hydrant they were installing at a few underground stations in London. It being a tunnel, and obviously sloped, this presented a few challenges for us but our design team came up with a purpose made solution which is practical and functional but also with ease of access for emergencies. Also being in the public domain, it needed to be safe to touch, impact robust, fire proof and blend in with other station saftey systems.
Needless to say completed on time, on budget and to the customers satisfaction!
